An excellent experience all around. They showed up early for the appointment we scheduled at my home, analyzed and ran diagnostic tests on my entire pool system. Wrote up a recommendation of service and cost estimate and did not feel any “sales pitch” pressure. After agreeing to the terms of what would be repaired, they executed the order efficiently and effectively.
Since that time, they have delivered excellent customer service and have been back out to look over and/or adjust any system requirements or difficulties that showed up afterwards at no additional cost to me.
I would recommend this pool company to anyone asking. Top Notch Company that Delivers Exactly what they say.
We had another pool service that was actually more expensive than Ambiance several years ago. During an extended absence they let our pool turn a lovely green and stained the marble dusting surface. I turned to Ambiance and Michael had our pool acid washed and looking like new. His crew had serviced it ever since and I have no complaints at all! They do a tremendous job and the pool is fantastic.
At one point Michael suggested a new energy efficient pool pump. I was hesitant at first but decided to have it done. It has slashed the electric usage of my pool by at lest 75% and had more than paid for itself.

Blamo!!!! They came…. they installed a new heater for my pool and my hot tub. The professionalism of these workers was refreshing and actually comforting. My pool and spa were in trustworthy hands. Fair price, too! Great service, professional people at every point from the receptionist who answered the phone and got me going in the right direction, to the one who showed me how to work everything I have. AWESOME!!!! Go anywhere else? Simply a dumb move. Go with Ambiance!!! They R O C K !!!!!
I’ve had a great experience with Ambiance Pool Service. They took over maintenance of my pool from another pool service company when I bought my house last year. The previous company had left the pool water in pretty bad shape – a dangerously high amount of chlorine and a pH level that was way out of balance. Ambiance cleaned it up and my pool water has been perfect since. I’ve met and talked to several people at Ambiance and they’ve all been friendly and professional. The owner Michael came out to do my pre-buy pool inspection and pointed out a few things that needed fixed. The service manager Dan came out the first couple weeks and got the pool chemicals back in order. My weekly maintenance technician Martin does a fantastic job. He has a great understanding of pools and water chemical balance, and he always keeps the pool clean, safe, and ready to go. I’ve gotten to know Martin over the past year and I feel fortunate to have him taking care of my pool. Just a great guy.
The Ambiance office folks are also nice people to work with. Communication is great. They send out email reminders when routine maintenance is due (pool filter due for cleaning, or a reminder to keep the filter running overnight if a freeze warning is in effect in the winter, etc.), but are never pushy. And on the few occasions when they’ve had to bump my normal weekly service visit up or back a day from my normal day, they’ve always sent out an email early in the week to let me know. It’s never a big deal, but it’s nice to know the office is on top of the small details.
I’m very happy with Ambiance. The quality of their service is top notch and their prices are very competitive. Highly recommended.
Over the past 10 years here in Tucson, AZ, I’ve plowed through half a dozen other pool services, finally to end up where I should have started: Michael Baker with Ambiance Pool Service. Recently, I had a 1980’s “Jules Verne’s” style sand filter go out on me and Mr. Baker did a top-notch job replacing it without taking me to the cleaners (plus he accommodated my wacky schedule). Three weeks later I needed a few other adjustments and he was back in a flash. Highly recommended.
Ambiance has been looking after my pool for over a year now and I have to say the service is outstanding. From the front end where customer calls are answered promptly and courteously (thank-you Rickelle) to high-level weekly maintenance (Taylor is THE best!!) to direct interaction with the owner (Michael El Grande Hefé – and THE man) when needed for those bigger but rare issues….like a new pump. The service line is seamless and this customer could not be more satisfied. I love my pool. I depend on Ambiance to keep it that way.
